About the Events
POCG is excited to be participating in Hoyt's Ignite event for the first time this year!
We will be providing a demonstration of horsehair pottery; a surface decoration technique where we will be applying organic items such as horsehair and feathers to red-hot pottery pulled straight from the kiln to create interesting carbon footprint effects!
What is Ignite?
This fire-centric festival offers live demonstrations in metals casting and forging, glass blowing and fusion, raku firing, fire dancing and more. Indulge in the artisan’s market, treat yourself at the gourmet burgers & dogs stand, and enjoy an old fashion s’more by the bonfire bar. Feeling adventurous? Try your hand at metal casting, woodburning, raku pottery and other activities. General admission is $25.
