Building the Future of Our Clay Community
Project: Starfish
Project: Starfish is a collaborative campaign aimed at transforming the building we purchased in August 2024 into a vibrant clay studio and resource hub for potters and ceramic artists in our community.
This initiative unites POCG artist members to channel their creative energy and efforts toward a shared vision: creating a fully equipped studio with established operational systems, enhanced artist support, and expanded community outreach.
With a much larger footprint than our previous studio, our new building provides the opportunity for us to expand our operations and our reach.
Since the purchase of the building, we have been working diligently to remodel, clean, and retrofit the space to meet our needs. Given the size of the building and the scope of our vision, this will be a multi-year project. We plan to open different areas and begin various operations in phases as we progress, with more coming online as the project unfolds.
