Phew! What a journey. These mugs brought me through almost every emotion imaginable, but right now, I’m writing this with a huge sense of relief. The final 15 are the result of weeks of testing, failures, small tweaks, creative problem-solving, and lightbulb moments. This series changed the way I think about my practice and has already informed future pieces. I’ve decided to continue working with expressive brushstrokes as a way to contrast more structural elements and am excited to keep investigating visual depth in 3D forms.
